Operatives of Ogun Police Command have taken two teenagers identified as Awali Abdulrazak and Aliu Abdulrasheed who claimed to be trekking to Oloje, Ilorin, Kwara State into custody

The boys were found by the police wandering on Long Bridge, outward Lagos, without any clear destination.

It was gathered that Divisional Police Officer of Warewa took them into safe custody at the early hours of April 17, 2025.

According details by the police, Awali Abdulrazak is 15 years old and 5.6 feet tall, while Aliu Abdulrasheed is also 15 years old and 5.5 feet tall.

“Both boys have dark complexions and demonstrated coherent responses during interrogation, communicating fluently in Yoruba and English.

“They claimed to be trekking to Oloje, Ilorin, Kwara State.

“The boys are currently under police care, with the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, directing that they receive medical care to ensure their health and well-being, welfare support to provide them with necessary assistance and comfort

“Efforts are underway to locate their parents or guardians. This development comes amid concerns for the safety and well-being of minors, highlighting the importance of family support and supervision,” Police.
