Nollywood actor and traditionalist Yul Edochie has opened up about the beauty of ageing, encouraging fans not to be ashamed of getting older.
In an Instagram post, the 43-year-old thespian pondered why society often frowns at ageing, describing it instead as a blessing and a beautiful phase of life. According to him, growing older comes with a deeper understanding of life, something he cherishes as he enjoys his 43rd year.
“This my 43 dey sweet me die. I don’t want to be a day younger for any reason,” Edochie wrote.
Offering a word of encouragement to those who feel they haven’t achieved much with age, Yul advised them to stay calm and avoid unnecessary pressure. “Relax. There’s no hurry in life, and nobody has it all. Be content with what you have at any stage in your life,” he added.
