As part of activities marking the year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, king Wasiu Ayinde (K1) will dazzle at the Lagos #1 hangout, Niteshift Coliseum, Ikeja, on Ileya day, Sunday, 6 November, 2011.

The all night event is packaged by Percy Incorporated and Niteshift Coliseum management.

Also, two top jujju music acts, Apple Spinners Band led by Governor of Lagos State branch of Association of Juju Musicians of Nigeria (AJUMN), Prince Oluwajoba Ojatunwase and Segun Blessing, will tonight thrill their fans and other music lovers to a night of musical razzmatazz in commemoration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Tagged Tungba Nite, the show is billed for the ever popular Army Officers’ Mess, a cosy rendezvous located at Sabo, Yaba, Lagos.

Commenting on the project, Ojatunwase said it will afford their fans and fun lovers in Yaba and its environs the opportunity to start the Eid celebration on a brighter note, while Segun Blessing, on his part, noted that it will be great experience performing alongside Apple Spinners and the first time at the Mess.

Guests expected to grace the show include proprietor of the joint, Prince Segun Adetiloye; National President of AJUMN, Queen Ayo Balogun; the boss of Big Boy Rentals, Prince Adesupo Fowowe and immediate past governor of Lagos AJUMN, Otunba Dipo Gatos as well as other AJUMN members as guest artistes.

Lovers of highlife music are in for another bout of the genre this Saturday as the living legend and evil genius of highlife, Dr. Victor Abimbola Olaiya (OON), leads his All Stars International Orchestra on stage to thrill them with some of his evergreen songs.

Venue of the show, expectedly, is the Papingo Nite Club of the age-long Stadium Hotel, Iyun Road, Surulere, Lagos.

Expected to join him on stage are some of his children; Bayode on trumpet and vocals, Bidemi (tenor sax/vocals), Biodun (trumpet/vocals) and Toba, a female, on the guitar, while veteran O’wambe music exponent, Chief S.F. Olowookere and Orlando Owoh sing-alike, Steven Moore, among others, will feature as guest artistes.

Also tonitght, Skye bar Club members will converge for their weekly Express Friday Nyte with big guys, bikini and sexy ladies as they club with DJ Remix.

The show holds at Skye Mambillah Hotel, Omodisu Street, Off Isawo, Agric Road, Ikorodu.
