The campaign, which began in May, stirred reactions from social media users, with some cheering him on and others ridiculing the act.
Despite the criticism, Nasboi remained determined, documenting each stop on social media.
His efforts finally paid off when Davido commented on one of his posts, writing: “Love the jam!! I got your soonest!! E go sup!!”
Overwhelmed with emotion, Nasboi responded: “OBO make old man like me cry @davido God bless you….. yo! Dem laugh me scatter. Buh God no shame me… Thank you OBO @davido.”
He also extended heartfelt gratitude to his fans for their support throughout the campaign: “This is a special thanks to everyone who has been supporting me. Especially on this 36 days campaign… God bless every one of you. In your own endeavors, God go pull through for you.”
