Video: Mr Eazi, Temi Otedola marry in private Iceland ceremony

When Afrobeats star Mr Eazi and actress Temi Otedola decided to say “I do,” they packed their bags for Iceland and not just any Iceland wedding, but a super-exclusive ceremony at the iconic Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavík.

The 244-foot church, famous for its towering architecture, was reportedly shut to the public and transformed into a floral wonderland for the big day. Inside, Temi, the daughter of billionaire oil mogul Femi Otedola  walked down the aisle to meet her “Skin Tight” hitmaker groom, while a handpicked guest list looked on.

And when we say “handpicked,” we mean elite. Footage from the celebrations, shared by comedian Broda Shaggi, showed none other than Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote in attendance and top CEOs. Also spotted were DJ Cuppy, Temi’s sister,  and their mother, all glowing with family pride.

It wasn’t just about the money and fame, though. The couple’s vows were exchanged in front of those who have been part of their journey since Mr Eazi popped the question back in April 2022, a proposal Temi revealed in a 38-second Instagram video that sent social media into a frenzy.

At the time, the lovebirds hinted their wedding would be a low-key affair. In true power couple fashion, they delivered, keeping the cameras at bay, but still making the rest of the world wish they had been there to catch the northern lights with them.
