Gianluigi Donnarumma has broken his silence after being told he will no longer play for Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper said he gave everything “on and off the pitch” since joining the French champions in 2021.

But, according to him, “someone has decided” his time at the club is over.

“I’m disappointed and disheartened,” Donnarumma said in an emotional statement to fans.

He thanked the “special Paris fans” for their support, recalling “magical nights” at the Parc des Princes.

“I hope to look you in the eyes one more time and say goodbye properly. If not, know that I will never forget you,” he added.

The Italian also hailed his teammates as his “second family” and “brothers,” saying playing for PSG had been “an immense honour.”

Donnarumma’s next move is yet to be revealed.
