Reports say his shirt sales increased by about 350 percent after the match played on Saturday. This surge came despite Arsenal’s defeat in a dramatic penalty shootout.

Gabriel was involved in a key moment during the shootout when he stepped up to take Arsenal’s fifth penalty. Unfortunately for the Gunners, he failed to convert his kick, sending the ball over the crossbar. That miss allowed PSG to secure the title once again.

Instead of turning against the player, supporters have shown strong backing for Gabriel by buying his jersey in large numbers.

In fact, his shirt became the most purchased Arsenal jersey shortly after the final.
