Popular TikToker Peller kidnapped or was it a hoax?

Confusion has trailed the sudden disappearance of fast-rising TikTok sensation, Peller, after he was reportedly abducted by unknown gunmen on Tuesday night.

According to viral videos making the rounds on social media, the 20-year-old content creator was live on TikTok when his car was stopped by armed men. In the footage, Peller could be heard questioning why a gun was pointed at him, before the gunmen ordered him to step out of his vehicle. He complied and has not been seen since.

An aide to the TikToker, who arrived at the scene moments later, confirmed that Peller’s car was found abandoned. “We don’t know who took him,” the aide said in a shaky voice, further heightening fears about his whereabouts.

Adding fuel to the speculation, Peller’s partner, Jarvis, made a cryptic post on Instagram with praying hands, a shattered heart, and crying emojis — leaving fans confused about whether to brace for bad news or dismiss it as part of an elaborate stunt.

Meanwhile, some social media users alleged that Peller might have mistaken the gunmen for policemen conducting late-night stop-and-search operations before realizing the danger too late.

However, fresh claims emerging suggest the incident may not have been a kidnapping after all. Another associate of the TikToker insisted Peller was never abducted, hinting that the whole episode could have been a staged prank or skit.

As at the time of filing this report, neither the police nor any security agency has issued an official statement on the matter, and the true situation remains unconfirmed.
