Brighton & Hove Albion claimed their third straight win over Chelsea with a 3-1 triumph at Stamford Bridge. Enzo Fernández had given the Blues a first-half lead, but Danny Welbeck equalised in the 77th minute.

Bart De Kruper’s towering 92nd-minute header put the visitors ahead before Welbeck struck again in the 100th minute to seal victory.
Manchester City, meanwhile, overcame an early scare to beat Burnley 4-1.

The game was level at 1-1 after the hour mark, but Pep Guardiola’s men pulled away in the closing stages. Burnley defender Maxime Esteve had a nightmare afternoon, scoring two own-goals to gift City the advantage.

At Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace delivered the shock of the round by defeating Liverpool 2-1. Ismaïla Sarr and Eddie Nketiah struck to put the Eagles firmly in control.

Liverpool responded through Nketiah  this time in a red shirt but it wasn’t enough to stop Palace from claiming a famous win in front of their home fans.
