The Police have declared one Victor Fajemirokun wanted while an herbalist has been arrested over suspected ritual killing of a female officer of Federal Roads Safety Corps, FRSC identified as Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, and her young daughter, Sewa in Ogun State.

In the wanted notice by the Ogun State Command, the police said Fajemirokun is wanted for heinous crimes of kidnapping and murder related to the missing FRSC officer and her daughter.

“He is alleged to have abducted a Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer and her child in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and subsequently transported them to Osun State, where they were tragically killed,” police said in the statement.

The FRSC officer and her daughter were declared missing on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

They were declared missing after they left their home at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate in Abeokuta.

The a 39- year -old Lasisi was serving with the FRSC Abeokuta Unit when she went missing.

Her associates and colleagues filed a formal report at the Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters, Abeokuta on November 5 when they were unable to reach her.

However, search by the police led to a tragic discovery of the mutilated body parts of the FRSC officer inside the residence of a suspected herbalist in Osun State.

However, latest report indicated that Ogun Commissioner of Police has confirmed the arrest of the herbalist to the management of FRSC in Ogun State.

According to the report, the herbalist was arrested in Iloko Ijesa, Osun State by anti-kidnapping operatives of Ogun Police Command.

The herbalist also confessed that the wanted Victor visited him for consultation.

He also reportedly claimed that Victor and his friends killed Lasisi and dismembered her body.

Police operatives discovered the dismembered body in a sack bag in a river without her head.

But the herbalist told police operatives that Lasisi’s daughter stayed with him for some days before Victor and his friends took her away.

The herbalist claimed he was not certain whether the girl was alive or not or where she is being kept.

It was gathered that Police are still on manhunt for Victor and his accomplices.

Also, there are plans to conduct DNA on the supposed remains of Lasisi its authenticity.

The police are working to arrest Mr. Victor and his accomplices. It was also learnt that DNA and autopsy tests will be conducted to confirm that the recovered arrest dismembered body without head is that of the missing FRSC officer.

The dismembered was reportedly deposited in Osun State Teaching Hospital, Osogbo on 17 November, 2025.

Meanwhile, Victor was also declared missing on 2 November 2025 by his wife at the Osun State Police Headquarters.
