On Monday, the 64-year-old actor shared a series of intimate photographs on Instagram, capturing moments of laughter, companionship, and shared memories that reflect their enduring partnership.
Accompanying the images, RMD posted a heartfelt message acknowledging the significance of their silver anniversary, describing twenty-five years of marriage as “no small feat.” He credited the longevity of their union to divine guidance, writing that it has been “by God’s involvement.”
In a playful note in Pidgin English, he added:
“25 years na your mate? Even if na beans to cook am nor easy o. Oghene is involving not where else for dey? To expanded horizons.”
RMD married Jumobi, a former television presenter, in 2000, four years after the death of his first wife, May Ellen Ezekiel. He has four children — two from his previous marriage and two from his current union.
The Delta-born actor, who also served as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State, is regarded as one of Nollywood’s most influential figures, with a career spanning over three decades.
