Kiefer Sutherland arrested over alleged assault claims

Hollywood actor Kiefer Sutherland has been arrested after an assault charge was levied against him. The actor, was accused of physically assaulting and threatening a ride-share driver.

The Police, however noted that the victim was not injured during the incident, adding that investigation on the case is still ongoing.

Kiefer was released after paying a bail fee of $50,000 (£37,000).  He is expected to appear in court on the 2nd of February.

This incident is not Keifer’s first arrest as he was sentenced to 48 days in jail in 2007 for driving under the influence of alcohol.
