JUST IN: Senator Mpigi Barinada passes on

Senator Mpigi Barinada, the lawmaker representing the South East Senatorial district of Rivers State has passed on.

The news of his death was confirmed by Akin Alabi, the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Works, via his X handle, on Thursday.

He paid tribute to the late Senator, praying that his soul will rest well.

“Good night my dear friend. Rest in Peace, Senator Mpigi Barinada. Sen. Mpigi represented Rivers South East in the Senate,” he stated.

Details of his death is yet to be revealed.
