Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence has announced that several United States military aircraft crashed in the country on Monday.

The announcement was shared by the Kuwait News Agency in a post on X, quoting a statement from the Defence Ministry.

“Ministry of Defense announces that several US military aircraft crashed earlier in the day, confirming that all crew members survived the incident,” the post said.

The exact number of aircraft involved and the cause of the crashes have not yet been made public.

The crashes happened a day after Iran reportedly attacked a US military base in Kuwait. The attack was said to be in response to joint airstrikes carried out by Israel and the United States on Iranian targets.

Reports also say Iranian missile attacks targeted US bases and facilities in other countries in the region, including Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
