"The office of the criminal Israeli PM, Netanyahu and the location of the regime’s Air Force commander were struck in targeted and surprise attacks by Kheybar Shekan ballistic missiles during the 10th wave," the IRGC said in a statement on Telegram.

Continued tension in the Middle East escalated on Monday as Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for an attack on the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to reports from Al Jazeera citing the IRGC’s Public Relations Department.

The strike also reportedly targeted a location where the commander of the Israeli Air Force was present, though Netanyahu’s current status remains unclear. Authorities say more details about the operation are expected to be released in the coming hours.

“The office of the criminal Israeli PM, Netanyahu and the location of the regime’s Air Force commander were struck in targeted and surprise attacks by Kheybar Shekan ballistic missiles during the 10th wave,” the IRGC said in a statement on Telegram.

In retaliation, Israel’s military announced it had killed two senior Iranian intelligence officials in Iran. The deceased were identified as Sayed Yahya Hamidi, deputy minister of intelligence for Israel affairs, who was accused of orchestrating operations against Jews, Western actors, and regime opponents both inside and outside Iran; and Jalal Pour Hussein, head of the espionage division at Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence.

The Israeli military described the duo as “senior terrorists” and stated that additional high-ranking targets were neutralized in the operation.

The latest attacks come amid an intensifying cycle of strikes and counter-strikes between Iran, Israel, and allied forces in the region, further heightening fears of a broader conflict in West Asia.
