‘God helped Wike after I prayed for him,’ David Ibiyeomie

Nigerian pastor, David Ibiyeomie has made a strong claim about the effect of his prayers on the political victories of former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike.

While speaking during his church service on Sunday, the cleric revealed that Wike was facing political challenges. Ibiyeomie claimed that Wike had already lost in the High Court and the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court judgment was expected to go against him.

He stated that he had to engage in a series of spiritual activities, including his participation in a church programme called “Five Nights of Glory”.

“I called him, and he was shaking on the phone. I said, ‘Don’t fear, don’t panic. God will step in.’ He said, ‘Papa, I believe,’” he said.

Ibiyeomie added that Wike’s fate changed after he asked God to intervene.
