American professional footballer Travis Kelce, has reacted to the rumors of his retirement from Kansas City Chiefs team after 13 years.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end officially revealed that he will be returning to the team for his 14th season, putting an end to the rumors of his retirement.
The 36-year-old who is engaged to Taylor Swift made the announcement on his New Heights podcast—which he hosts with brother Jason Kelce.
”He’s back. Travis Kelce is back with the Chiefs for year 14,” they said with excitement.
The NFL also confirmed that Travis will play for the 2026-2027 season, sharing a video with the caption, “He’s not done yet.”
Travis had initially shred his uncertainty for the new season which sparked rumors of him ending his career with the Chies.
“Who knows? Either [a decision] hits me quick, or I gotta take some time. Last year was a little bit easier. I think I knew right away I wanted to give this [year] a shot. I don’t know. We’ll see,” he told The Kansas City Star.
