New Kim Kardashian sex tape? Kim, mum Kris forced to respond

Just when you thought the Kim Kardashian sex tape saga was ancient history, it refuses to die. This week, rumours of a new tape began making the rounds online.

Relax, there’s no new tape. What’s back in the headlines is the same scandal that made Kim a global name, only now, fresh claims have surfaced in court filings, forcing both Kim and her mother, Kris Jenner, to respond.

In fresh court documents, both women rejected claims by singer Ray J that the tape was a carefully planned publicity stunt.

According to a report by TMZ, Kardashian described Ray J’s allegation that she and her mother plotted to release the tape, deceive the public and file a fake lawsuit to generate publicity as “a lie.”

Ray J had claimed that Kardashian and Jenner were behind a plan to release the tape through adult film company Vivid Entertainment to create buzz.

Jenner also dismissed the allegation in strong terms, saying claims that she controlled the “commercial exploitation” of the tape were completely false.

“As a mother, the notion that I orchestrated or produced sex tapes involving my daughter, or was in any way involved in the creation or distribution of any sex tapes, is not only entirely untrue but deeply offensive and harmful and has haunted me for decades,” Jenner said in her statement.

The legal battle stems from a defamation lawsuit Kardashian and Jenner filed against Ray J in October, accusing him of making false claims about the tape.

Ray J responded with a countersuit, alleging they violated a settlement agreement that barred all parties from publicly discussing the sex tape.

Jenner has also accused the singer of “publicly terrorising” her daughter, while Kardashian claims his statements could damage her chances of eventually becoming a lawyer.
