What I look for in a lady – Don Jazzy

Nigerian music producer and record executive Don Jazzy has opened up about the qualities he looks for in an ideal romantic partner.

The Mavin Records boss, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, made the revelation while appearing on the Is This Seat Taken podcast hosted by actress Chinasa Anukam.

During the conversation, Don Jazzy explained that he is particularly attracted to women who have calm and gentle personalities. According to him, he prefers a partner who is soft-spoken and easy-going, as he avoids relationships filled with tension or unnecessary conflict.

He stressed that peace and harmony are important qualities he values in a relationship, noting that aggressive behaviour or shouting easily turns him off.

“My ideal woman for dating, in order of importance, first of all, you have to be a freak. I don’t know how I found that out, but it is one. Secondly, you have to be soft both in body and personality. Because if you shout at me, you are dating yourself,” he said.

The music executive added that he does not tolerate stress or violence in relationships, explaining that he would rather walk away than remain in a toxic environment.

“I don’t like stress. I don’t tolerate stress and violence. The moment you try to be nonchalant or violent, you will not see me again,” he added.
