‘Nigerian artists ‘spat’ on my face,’ Shallipopi opens up

Nigerian singer, Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has opened up on the treatment he received from Nigerian artists while trying to break into the mainstream media.

The artist on his social media platforms, revealed that he was ‘spat’ on by many artist in the industry. Shalipopi explained that he was constantly looked down on and ridiculed, stating that the experience made him mean.

Although Shalipopi did not mention names in his post, he threatened that the individuals who scorned him will suffer the consequences of their actions in time.

”2023/2024 many artist pour me spit for face…. I mean manyyyyyy, that’s why I’m extra mean, ogun go kill of una one by one as time dey go,” he wrote.
