‘I can be married five times if I want,’ Laide Bakare

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has opened up on her views on marriage, revealing that she has no problem with getting remarried.

While speaking in an interview with Ayo Adesanya on Real Live with Aunty Ayo podcast, Laide opened up on her perspective on marriage.

She stated that although her religion is against women remarrying multiple times, she will leave a marriage and remarry once she realises she is not getting it right.

“My religion doesn’t allow women marrying multiple times, but if I am not getting it right, I am not getting it right! There is nothing I can do. I won’t keep trying anyways. Lonely? I can never feel lonely. I don’t feel lonely,” she stated.
