Drama in Ogun as Gbenga Daniel alleges exclusion from APC caucus gathering

Former Ogun State Governor and Senator, Gbenga Daniel, has alleged that he and members of his political group were denied access to a All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders meeting in Ogun State.

Daniel made the claim while speaking at the venue of the gathering, where he said he arrived with supporters for what was expected to be an APC caucus meeting for the Ogun East zone.

However, he stated that they were prevented from entering the meeting hall, describing the development as unacceptable.

“We are here for our Ogun East APC caucus meeting, but surprisingly, we have been barred; we are told that we cannot enter, but let it be said that whatever they do here today is null and void,” he said.

The circumstances surrounding the restriction were not immediately clear at the time of filing this report, and there has been no official response from the organisers of the meeting.
