Wolves sanction Arokodare over heated fight with teammate

Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has been punished by his club, Wolverhampton Wanderers, after he was involved in a physical confrontation with a teammate, Mateus Mane.

The incident reportedly happened after Wolves suffered a heavy 4–0 defeat to West Ham United at the London Stadium. The loss reportedly increased tension within the team.

According to reports, the disagreement between the two players started as a normal verbal argument. However, the situation quickly escalated and turned into a physical altercation. Club sources say Arokodare was identified as the main player involved in the confrontation.

Following the incident, Wolverhampton Wanderers took disciplinary action and fined the striker. The club is said to have acted to maintain discipline and team unity after the incident.

After the altercation, Arokodare was not selected to play in Wolves’ next Premier League match, where the team lost 3–0 to Leeds United. His absence from the squad has been linked to the disciplinary issue.
