EPL: Sir Alex Ferguson driven in ambulance, hospitalised

Legendary former Manchester United manager, Alex Ferguson, was taken to the hospital after feeling unwell at Old Trafford.

The incident happened before Sunday’s Premier League match between Manchester United and Liverpool FC.

According to the BBC, it was only a precaution and not an emergency. Ferguson was taken from the stadium in an ambulance.

Officials at Manchester United believe he will recover soon and return home.

Meanwhile, the team coached by Michael Carrick is hoping to get at least one point from the match, which would help them qualify for next season’s Champions League.
