Veekee James, husband welcome baby girl

Fashion designer Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, have joyfully welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Eliana Adeife Atere.

The proud parents shared the wonderful news with their followers on Instagram on Wednesday, posting a heartfelt video celebrating the arrival of their daughter.

In their post, the couple explained the significance behind their daughter’s name. “EL” means God, and “ANA” means “He has answered,” together signifying, “My God has answered.” The couple also referenced the Bible verse, 1 Samuel 1:27, which reads: “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.”

Veekee and Femi revealed that baby Eliana was born on May 2, 2026.

The couple, who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in February 2024, had announced their engagement in December 2023.
