Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the appointment of Kayode Oyekanmi as the new General Manager of Lagos Television (LTV), as part of efforts to strengthen the state-owned broadcast station.

Following the governor’s approval, the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, on Wednesday formally presented Oyekanmi with his appointment letter during a brief ceremony held at the Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Agoro expressed confidence in the ability of the new LTV helmsman to reposition the television station and enhance its relevance in the competitive media industry.

He wished Oyekanmi a successful and impactful tenure, describing him as a seasoned communications professional with vast experience in both public and private sector engagements.
