Nigerian media personality and TV host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has opened up on his struggle with addiction, revealing that he started smoking in secondary school.
While speaking on the ‘Mentality With Ebuka’ show, the father of two disclosed that although he started smoking really early in life, he hasn’t smoked since 2008.
Ebuka also revealed that he used to smoke two packs of cigarettes daily while in university.
“I started smoking in JSS3. I smoked for 13 years. By the time I entered university, I was smoking two packs a day. I was a heavy smoker. The last stick of cigarette that I had was in February 2008. It’s been a while, I smiled for 13 years. I smoked heavily,” he stated.
