Ayinla hails Tinubu, Hamzat over APC Primary Election victories

A Lagos-based philanthropist and prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Olalekan Ayinla, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections following his sweeping victory at the APC nationwide presidential primary.

Ayinla also congratulated the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, on securing the APC governorship ticket in Lagos State, describing the victories as a strong endorsement of visionary leadership, loyalty, competence and commitment to public service.

In a statement made available to journalists in Lagos, Ayinla said President Tinubu’s overwhelming victory at the primary election reflected the growing confidence of party members and Nigerians in his administration and the Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to him, Tinubu’s leadership style, political experience and reform-driven governance have continued to inspire confidence across different parts of the country.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains a symbol of progressive leadership, political stability and national transformation. His emergence as the APC presidential candidate is not surprising because Nigerians across different regions appreciate his courage, experience and commitment to building a better nation,” Ayinla stated.

He noted that the President’s emergence signalled continuity in the APC’s progressive ideals and reaffirmed the party’s determination to sustain ongoing economic and infrastructural reforms across the country.

Commenting on Hamzat’s emergence as the APC governorship candidate in Lagos State, Ayinla described the Deputy Governor as an experienced administrator, grassroots mobiliser and technocrat whose contributions to governance and infrastructural development in Lagos have remained remarkable.

He said Hamzat’s emergence was a reflection of his years of dedication, loyalty and effective service to the people of Lagos State.

According to Ayinla, the Deputy Governor possesses the leadership capacity, administrative competence and political understanding required to sustain and consolidate the developmental strides achieved in Lagos over the years.

He further assured both Tinubu and Hamzat of the continued support and loyalty of APC members, youths and supporters across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ayinla expressed confidence that the APC would record resounding victories in the forthcoming polls through party unity, effective grassroots mobilisation and sustained engagement with the people.

He also urged party members and supporters to remain committed to the ideals of the APC and continue supporting efforts aimed at promoting peace, development and good governance across the country.
