We are our biggest problem -Do2dtun urges Nigerians to speak up

Nigerian media personality, Do2dtun, has urged Nigerians not to wait for celebrities to speak up against insecurity before they do.

While speaking via his X handle on Tuesday, he noted that Nigerians tend to criticise public figures who speak up and also call out those who do not.

Do2dtun explained that holding the government accountable is a collective responsibility and should not be expected of just a group of people.

”The ones that speak up, you bash them into depression. Now it has now become a bandwagon of set of people who just do it to be able to move in their lives in peace or don’t at all to have peace. You have insulted them into oblivion. Let everyone use their platform. Nigeria do not treat them differently. It is not JUST their duty to hold the government accountable. It is our DUTY. Face the ones that sold you out,” he stated.

Do2dtun also claimed that most Nigerians are controlled by fear and trauma. He added that the fear makes people push blame and responsibility for a situation that should be addressed by all.

”Nigerians we are our biggest problem. We are so traumatized that we only look for people to attack over a disease that affects us all. We look for the cure with the wrong people, in the wrong places. A herbalist can only proffer a solution but he won’t use it on your behalf. Anything you see after his prescription , na only you go feel am when e burst. What’s sickening is you will see people that don’t do anything with their platforms but attack those that do. It’s HYPOCRISY of the highest order,” he added.
