"I also appreciate the African Democratic Congress from the national to the ward level for choosing justice over confusion and ensuring that our primaries were resolved fairly. That decision renewed faith in our party and in our democracy."

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Kontagora/Mariga/Wushishi/Mashegu Federal Constituency, Hon. Mohammed Sani Bello, has pledged to provide effective representation, attract federal projects, and promote inclusive governance if elected to the House of Representatives.

Bello committed a message to supporters on Saturday following the resolution of the party’s primary election, describing the process as a victory for justice, fairness, and democracy.

He commended the leadership of the ADC from the national to the ward levels for what he described as their commitment to fairness in resolving the party’s internal processes.

According to him, the decision has restored confidence in both the party and the democratic system.

“I sincerely thank the Almighty, to whom all honour and glory belong, for His guidance and blessings,” Bello said.

“I also appreciate the African Democratic Congress from the national to the ward level for choosing justice over confusion and ensuring that our primaries were resolved fairly. That decision renewed faith in our party and in our democracy.”

The lawmaker hopeful equally expressed gratitude to his supporters, family members, and political associates, saying their encouragement and belief in his vision have remained a source of strength.

He, however, noted that his aspiration goes beyond personal ambition, insisting that it is anchored in restoring hope and delivering meaningful development to the people of the constituency.

Bello promised to ensure that Kontagora, Mariga, Wushishi, and Mashegu have stronger representation at the federal level and a voice that would be heard in Abuja.

He said his administration would aggressively pursue federal projects, including roads, schools, healthcare facilities, irrigation schemes, and employment opportunities for young people.

The ADC candidate also pledged to institutionalise community engagement through regular town hall meetings, youth summits, and stakeholder consultations across the four local government areas.

According to him, the voices of constituents would shape his legislative priorities and decisions.

“Leadership must remain open and accessible to everyone. We will organise town halls in Kontagora, listening sessions in Mariga, feedback forums in Wushishi, and youth summits in Mashegu because the people must guide the decisions that affect them,” he said.

Bello further assured residents that his leadership would be built on dignity, inclusion, and accountability, stressing that the constituency must never be treated as one that only matters during election seasons.

“Our people have dreams and aspirations, and those dreams are valid. We deserve development, security, quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities,” he added.

Reflecting on the party’s primary election, Bello said the process demonstrated the resilience and unity of ADC members across the constituency.

“The primaries tested us, but they also revealed our strength. They showed that we are united, resilient, and ready for the task ahead,” he stated.

He maintained that his ambition is driven by the needs of ordinary people, including mothers who require access to quality healthcare, children who deserve better learning environments, graduates seeking employment opportunities, farmers in need of security and irrigation support, and traders who depend on reliable infrastructure and electricity.

“This mandate is not about me. It is about the mother in Mashegu who needs a clinic, the child who deserves a conducive learning environment, the families affected by insecurity, the graduates in Wushishi searching for jobs, the farmers in Mariga who need peace to work, and the traders in Kontagora who need a stable power supply,” Bello said.

He assured constituents that he would remain accessible and accountable if given the opportunity to serve.

“If elected, I will not disappoint the people. I will not disappear, and I will not change. I will remain committed to service and to the development of our constituency,” he added.

The ADC candidate called on residents across Kontagora, Mariga, Wushishi, and Mashegu to unite behind a common vision for progress, insisting that the time has come to build a more prosperous and inclusive federal constituency.

“The work starts now, and the hope is real. Together, we can build a better future for our people,” Bello said.
