Keni Akintoye of the Twin-X Hip Hop group has tied the nuptial knot with his heartthrob, Olabisi Adeoti, a medical doctor and graduate of Medicine and Surgery from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

The solemnisation was held on Saturday last week at the Anglican Church, Ibadan. It was preceded by a traditional wedding on Friday 10 February 2012.

According to Keni, who had recorded hit songs like Mother Mi, Plenty Money and Miliki among others with his twin brother, his relationship with Olabisi started about 12 years ago.

“We knew each other back in the days over 12 years ago but it was more like a distant little sister – big brother relationship. But the romance started about three years ago when we found each other on a neutral platform and here we are now,” he said.

The bride was raised in Ibadan by her parents, both medical practitioners. She attended International School Ibadan before studying Medicine & Surgery at the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. She’s currently into full time practice in Lagos.

Keni had his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Lagos State University, then had his first Post-graduate Certificate in ‘Creative and New Media’ from the Pan-African University, Lagos.

He is currently back in LASU doing his Masters Degree in Communication Studies majoring in Public Relations.
