LSDA Plans For 2014 Sports Festival

Lagos State Dart Association, LSDA, has concluded plans to start preparations ahead of the 2014 National Sports Festival in Calabar, Cross River State.

Chairman of the association, Adedayo Olowu, made this disclosure after the association’s inter- club championship which came to a close on Saturday at the Dart section of the Lagos State Sports Council Rowe Park, Yaba.

He explained that they decided to embark on the programme since the state’s dart players would not be participating in the National Sports Festival scheduled for Lagos in November.

Olowu, said the inter -clubs championship had helped them to discover talented dart players, like Godwin Ginikanwa and Pius Famakin, as they would be exposed to regular competitions to make them relevant and be in good form for the 2014 Games.
