Cross-over Ibadan-based clothier, Fashogbon Abiodun David, also known as Fashiefizzie, has recorded a tribute song titled: Black Sunday, for victims of the Dana plane crash that happened in Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos on Sunday.

Though his debut single, Oleku, is still enjoying good air play on local and international radio stations, Fashiefizzie said he recorded Black Sunday ‘because of the burden upon my soul and great empathy for those that lost their lives in the plane crash. A blackberry broadcast from Fela Durotoye knocked me down; made me flat in pain and I just had to hit the studio to record this tribute song to the departed souls.’
The entertainer also noted that it is time for his music career to take a new dimension.
In his words, “Music came as a result of pain and release from it. Music heals my heart and everything I touch turns to gold. As long as I have live, I will continue to sing and affect lives positively with my music.’
