2012 Olympic Games: Ajose Slams NSC

Nigerian professional boxer, Olusegun Ajose has predicted doom for Nigerian pugilists at the 2012 London Games scheduled to hold later in the month.

Ajose said Nigerians should blame National Sports Commission NSC if Nigerian pugilists failed to reach the medal zone in London. Ajose berated the  NSC  officials for not preparing the boxers ahead of the Olympics.

The World Boxing Council, Lightwelter contender disclosed that country like Cuba and other European nations have been in camp for four years ago and exposed to  regular international competitions.

Ajose wondered how Nigerian pugilists will excel in London, saying that the time Nigerian boxers started camping cannot bring the best out of the boxers.

He noted that the Nigerian boxers to the Olympic Games did not have the opportunity of competing in regular international events to enable them prepare for the London Games.
