Remembrance For Teslim Balogun

The Teslim Balogun Foundation yesterday at the SWAN Secretariat, National Stadium, Lagos State, unveiled plans for the 40th memorial anniversary in remembrance of the late Teslim ‘Thunder’ Balogun.

The management of the foundation disclosed that activities will commence on 27 July, where a seminar on sports development will hold at the conference hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium. Adokiye Amaiesiameka and Chief Kashimawo Laloko will speak on different topics during the event.

On 29 July, two novelty matches will be played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium. Lagos SWAN and Ikorodu All Stars will trade tackles, while the All Stars International will face the Managers team.

On 30 July, a religious service/presentation of welfare support to sportsmen and women will hold at the Teslim Balogun’s Compound in Lagos.
