Manko, Others Bag Awards

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP, Umar Manko, was among those who received award of recognition from Bennie Sisters Outreach and Media Concept, last Saturday.

Others that received awards at the Diamond/Golden partner’s recognition award held at the Lagos Television Hall 2, Ikeja, Lagos, were Sir T.T Tinuoye, Barrister Laura Komonibo, Professor Abubakar momoh of LASU, Pastor Bennie Ogbomo, Pastor I. Adegboyega and Mrs. Ndidi Melete Oguejiefor.

Others personalities who grace the occasion were Mr. T. Aimuemojie, Deacon J Amedu, Rev. Father G.I Osaghae, Pastor Prince O., Mr. Scherey M. Momoh, CEO, Say Media Resources and Ereon Pageantry Nigeria and Mr. Tony Ekata, Assistant Director New Voice of Nigeria, who was the compere of the ceremony.

In the opening speech, the president and founder of Bennie Sisters Outreach and Media Concept, Pastor Bennie Ogbomo, thanked the guests and awardees for gracing the ceremony.

She said Bennie Sisters Outreach was created for the sole purpose of building homes, raising destinies and restoring hopes among women who are singles, divorcees, widows, less privileged in the society and the neglected and abandoned.

She added that the society and the church have neglected women who were once married but now single and these women carry the burden of the children and household challenges alone.

Pastor Ogbomo also highlighted the financial and emotional challenges single parent-women face in their day to day life.

She said the vision of the Bennies Sister Outreach is to facilitate the emancipation of womanhood.

She said their December 2012 carnival tagged carnival party for the single parents woman, widow, helpless women divorcees, neglected women and the less privileged women is underway.

Pastor Bennie Ogbomo is also the publisher and editor-in-chief of Virtues Life magazine.
