Ghana’s Black stars have qualified for the African Nations Cup tournament in South Africa next year.
They beat Malawi 1-0 in Lilongwe, making the score line 3-0 on aggregate. In Accra last month, Ghana shot two goals past the Malawians.
Mali are also through, after mauling Botswana 4-1 in Gaborone. With a 3-0 victory against Botswana a few weeks ago, the aggregate scoreline was 7-1, in favour of the Malians.
Defending Champions, Zambia fought hard through penalties to advance at the expense of Uganda. Match ended 1-1 on aggregate at regulation time in Kampala, In the penalty shootout, Zambia escaped with a 9-8 scoreline.
