 Lola Rae Drops Watch My Ting Go

British Nigerian rising pop star, Lola Rae, has finally released the long-awaited music video of her Afrobeat club banger, Watch My Ting Go. The video was premiere last week on SoundCity.

The enthralling new video, a vibrant celebration of African music, dance and fashion, has the likes of rave singer Iyanya, fellow Triple MG recording artist, Emma Nyra and popular UK-based comedian Tolu Ogunmefun a.k.a. Don’t Jealous Me making cameo appearances. It also featured a sassy dance routine from the C.E.O. dancers.

 Kel, Others For One Mic Naija

Come 27 January at Browns’ Cafe, GRA Ikeja, the New Year edition of One Mic Naija Show will be held. And what a better way to usher in the New Year than to party with emerging and established acts in the Nigerian entertainment scene.

Organisers of the bi-monthly live artiste showcase have said that it will be kicking off 2013 in a grand style with fresh talents. On the bill are fast-rising Afro pop diva Seyi Shay; Top Radio’s Next Top Talent winner, Baby Boi; rapper Luni; singer Pheel, Ajebutter and Tillaman.

Regular show host, Kel, will not only host, but also perform her new single and some old favourites.

Last year saw One Mic Naija performances by Sound Sultan, Dammy Krane, Solidstar and more, adding to the growing popularity of the event among young people. This year, there are promises of more discoveries.

Darey Presents Love-like- a- movie concert

R&B singer, Darey Art Alade is also  set to give music lovers the ultimate St. Valentine’s Day experience this February. P.M.NEWS Showbiz Trends learnt that the talented singer is putting together a special St. Valentine’s Day concert titled: Love…Like a Movie, on 17 February, at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Love…Like a Movie, a concert produced by Soul Muzik Records, will be headlined by Darey, with support from his protégés, Mo’Eazy and Zaina. It will also feature some of the best in the Nigerian music industry including 2Face Idibia, P Square, Naeto C, Ice Prince, Flavour, 9ice, DJ Jimmy Jatt and South African duo Jozi. “We intend to create a magical experience that will stay with our fans for a lifetime. This concert is definitely one to watch out for as it is one of the very few concerts that will have a full display of exciting performance…,” Darey said of the concert.

This specially-designed event will also be the maiden episode in the “Darey Presents…” series.
