Kaduna urges residents to guard against kidnapping, abduction

The Kaduna State Government on Wednesday urged all residents to be vigilant in view of the increasing cases of abduction and kidnappings in the state.

The appeal was contained in a statement issued in Kaduna by the state Commissioner for Information, Mr Reuben Bako.

The statement also advised people to be cautious and not to disclose their movements to other persons unnecessarily.

It enjoined residents to “report suspicious persons or activities to at least two security agencies”.

The statement assured that the state government would continue to sustain measures at protecting the lives and property of the people.

It also called on the citizens to complement its efforts in this regard.
