Veteran DJ turned radio presenter, DJ Max Kendy, who hosts popular Sunday programme, Old Skool Jamz, has formally joined the league of well-wishers saluting the management of Rainbow FM on their fourth anniversary celebration.
“To me, this is the station’s finest hour which I can’t afford to wish away just like that. That is why I am wishing them the best they wish themselves,” he said.
Kendy, whose radio programme evokes the memories of years gone past, maintained that he is set to use the oncoming DJAN Yuletide Jamz slated for December to teach the new generation DJs the rudiments of the job.
“I feel strongly about some of the new generation DJs who are pretty puffy about what they do which they don’t actually do well in my estimation as a godfather in this business. They have to be taught the lessons of how to be a successful Disc- Jockey,” he maintained.
