Gov. Shettima appoints honourary, special advisers

Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno on Tuesday, appointed two former Deputy Governors of the State as honourary special advisers.
NAN reports that the appointees; Alhaji Shettima Dibal, was deputy to ex-governor Ali Modu Sheriff from 2003 to 2011.
Alhaji Abubakar Jatau was the Deputy to former Gov., the late Mala Kachallah from 1999 to 2003.
They are among the seven honourary special advisers and 46 other Special Advisers appointed by Shettima.
A statement signed by the governor indicated that both Dibal and Jatau were are to as Honourary Special Advisers on Politics.
Others are Prof. Umaru Shehu, Primary Health Care, Ibrahim Ali, Agriculture.
The former National Chairman, PDP, Chief Audu Ogbe, Industry, Secretary of the Borno Elders Forum, Bulami Mali Gubio, Education and Prof. Dili Dogo of the University of Maiduguri, Health.
Other appointees were selected from the 27 local government areas, with each council having a representative.
Others are Malami Wakil Korede, Mrs Zainab Umar Kolo, Ibrahim Usman Ngulde, Hajja Zara Bukar, Baba Shehu Gulumba and Garba Ngamdu.
Dr Shettima Bukar Kullima, Umar Sa’ad Yahai, Tijjani Goni, Modu, Mohammed Bulama Gajiram, Ahmed Satomi and Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo among others also made the list.
The governor also re-appointed Malam Isa Gusau, his one-time spokesman.
