Wife of Nigeria’s Senate President, Toyin Saraki and members of the Senators’ Wives Forum said they received with shock and deep sadness, news of the demise of Adetayo Alasoadura, wife of Senator Donald Tayo Alasoadura.
Alasoadura represents Ondo Central in the 8th Senate.
His wife died on Thursday 19 May.
In a statement released by the Forum Secretariat, Forum President, Mrs. Toyin Saraki described the late Mrs Alasoadura as a “devout prayer partner who enriched our 8th Senate Wives Forum with constant positive contributions of friendship and sisterhood.”
Mrs Saraki on behalf of the Senators’ Wives Forum prayed the Almighty to receive her soul in Heaven, and comfort her loved ones, her husband, and children.
“Indeed, she will be sorely missed”, Mrs. Saraki added.
