A Cleric, Rev. Joseph Agboluaje has called on the Federal Government to give more priority to addressing the security situation of the country.
Agboluaje made the call on Sunday while speaking at the spiritual week of spiritual emphasis at ECWA Church, Oke Odo, Tanke, Ilorin.
Speaking on the theme: “Be Hopeful in a time like this”, Agboluaje noted that the situation around the nation was not palatable, especially the recent killing of gallant soldiers in the northeast, describing it as worrisome.
The Cleric called on the Federal Government and those in position of authority to do the needful to stop the trend.
He implored Nigerians to continue to pray for peace, unity and tranquility of the nation.
Also speaking, Rev. Kelechi Odii explained that many Christians panic in difficult situation as a result of their failure to engage in spiritual warfare and truly trust God.
Rev. Odii noted that true spiritual warriors should not fear any opposition, calling on christians to put their trust in the Lord.
He stressed the need for Christians to be wholeheartedly committed to Jesus Christ and walk in holiness and righteousness.
He urged Christians to make themselves available to pursue the purpose of God and work to glorify God on the earth.
He condemned the various social vices happening across the country, advising Nigerians to move closer to God and pray for their leaders.
He admonished the people to allow the fear of God to take absolute control of their life for peace to reign in the country.
He implored christians to abide by God’s commandments to experience divine expansion and elevation.
