Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of National Diaspora Commission on Saturday admonished Nigerian youths not to allow anyone to use them for violence during the voting processes and at the collation centres.

The Senior Special Adviser to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora gave the advice after casting her vote at Unit 007, Isele 1, Ikorodu.

She said that youths should not only vote but ensure that their votes count by not allowing anyone to use them as tools to cause mayhem at the collation centres.

“Do not allow anyone to use you to cause trouble, just vote and ensure your votes count; when this happens, every political office holder will know that they cannot take one voter for granted.

“The key thing is the collation centres; adequate and intensified security has to be at the collation centres.

“It is important that we have a free and fair election and do the right thing because this is our future, this is our destiny; vote for your choice.

Speaking about her experience during the voting processes, she said though it started an hour and half late, it was orderly and a little bit complicating because of the numerous political parties.

“I had to look properly before I cast my vote because of the many political parties,” she said.
