Toyota, Peugeot Storm Motor Fair
Toyota (Nigeria) Limited is participating actively in the Lagos Motor Fair which kicked off on 19 October, 2010 at the Oceanview Restaurant, Victoria Island.
In its characteristic manner, Toyota (Nigeria) Limited is putting up another pace-setting performance by taking up about 1,000 square metres, the largest portion of the display ground taken by any single auto brand since the inception of the fair.
According to a source at the fairground, the objective is to provide ample space to accommodate the large fleet of professionally crafted Toyota vehicles that the company is parading while the seven-day fair lasts.
“Ultimately we intend to avail our customers the opportunity to interface with a wide array of our models. In the past editions, Toyota (Nigeria) Limited had been reputed for innovations that always thrilled the visitors to the fair. This year has not been different for we are rewarding our esteemed customers as well as other distinguished visitors to the event by granting special fair prices on some of our models,†he revealed.
The source explained that this gesture is intended to make the customers happy and encourage them to “stay loyal to the brand that offers superior qualityâ€.
Furthermore the participation is portraying a holistic interplay of Toyota’s 3S philosophy of emphasis on Sales Spares and Service. Top on the range is Toyota’s Landcruiser V8, V6 variants spearheading the onslaught.
Similarly, one of Nigeria’s surviving auto plants, Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited (PAN), is flaunting a wide range of its new generation, lion-branded vehicles at this year’s Lagos Motor Fair.
PAN is showcasing the products in conjunction with its network of dealers, with a lot of emphasis on after-sales back-up. Among the products which have been attracting a steam of visitors to the Peugeot stand are the new 407, Partner Ambulance, Expert Tepee, Expert Ambulance, 307 Sedan, 207 and 406 to mention but a few.
Also on display and on sale are genuine (original) spare parts and other brand accessories from the PAN boutique. Special fair discounts are being dangled by the marketing at the fair ground to encourage visitors to purchase vehicles before the exhibition ends next week.
PAN has made its attendance at the BKG-organised Lagos Motor Show mandatory as it recognises the consistent efforts of the organisers to providing a common commercial platform for Nigerian auto marketers.
