The Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency,MVAA has concluded a two-day workshop for officers drawn from its various licensing offices.
The workshop, which was on Managing Corporate Image for Effective Front Desk Services, was part of the efforts of the agency to enhance and promote cordial relationship with its clients.
Speaking at the workshop held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, the Permanent Secretary of the agency, Mr. Akin Hanson said the aim of the workshop was to change the attitude of staff towards its target audience.
The Permanent Secretary added that the task of the agency is not in the hands of the management staff alone, but with all staff who are also stakeholders as well, if the organisation wants to assert its full impact in the market place.
Hanson implored participants to make the best of the opportunity given to them in  elevating the agency to greater heights.
The Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency is a state owned agency charged with the statutory responsibilities of registering auto and spare parts dealers,  issuing of vehicle license, plate numbering and various types of vehicular registration. The workshop took participants through different courses such as overview of roles, general etiquette of front-desk officers; transparency and attitudinal change at work and proper documentation, among others.
