Obiano votes, urges residents to come out and vote

Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano and his wife, Eberechukwu have cast their votes at the ongoing governorship election in the State.

They voted at Eri Primary School, Otuocha 1, polling unit 004 for Aguleri around 9:44am.

Obiano called on eligible voters to come out and perform their civic responsibilities without fear.

He said the reports so far showed that the election had been peaceful, while commending those who have showed up to vote so far.

The governor said he was very happy to have exercised his civic responsibility.

“I want to ask all Anambra citizens wherever they are to come out en-masse and vote. We can see everywhere is peaceful, and that is the way it is across the state,” he said.
