President Muhammadu Buhari has met most of the chairmanship aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House in Abuja.
The meeting which dovetailed into dinner was attended by the Chairmen Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning committee of the APC and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.
The Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari and Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha also attended.
Among the aspirants at the meeting Wednesday night were Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, Abubakar Yari and Saliu Mustapha.
Others are Sen George Akume, Sen Tanko Al-Makura, Sen Mohammed Sani Musa and Mohammed Saidu Etsu.
The election of the chairman will take place 26 March in Abuja at the much delayed national convention of the APC.
