2023: Yobe APC inaugurates fund-raising committee

The Yobe Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) inaugurated a five-man fund-raising committee in Damaturu on Saturday preparatory to the 2023 general elections.
Secretary of the state’s Campaign Council, Alhaji Barma Shettima, stated that the committee would raise funds from stakeholders, supporters and party members.
The committee has Alhaji Tijjani Tumsa as Chairman, and Alhaji Waziri Alamai, Dr Mairo Amshi and Dr Ali Abbas as members while Malam Hassan Saleh serves as its secretary.
It would work on APC’s deep and strong-rooted structures in Yobe to ensure victory for the party at the elections.
The Yobe Campaign Council was inaugurated on Jan. 7. It has the former governor of the state, Sen. Ibrahim Gaidam as its chairman, Sen. Mohammed Hassan as director-general and Alhaji Barma Shettima as secretary.
