Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has approved the appointment of seven new Permanent Secretaries and Tutors-General in the State Public Service.

The appointees include:

1. Mrs Adebopo Abosede Oyekan-Ismaila – Director, Administration and Human Resources, Public Service Office.

2. Mrs Abisola Khadijat Dokunmu-Adegbite – Director, Administration and Human Resources, Ministry of Establishments and Training.

3. Mrs Olayinka Modupe Ojo – Director, Statistics, Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget.

4. Mr Hameed Olanrewaju Oyenuga – Director/State Counsel, Ministry of Justice.

5. Mrs Mojisola Christiana Yusuff – Director, Education/Principal, Education District III.

6. Mr Dauda Abiodun Hassan – Director, Education/Principal, Education District IV.

7. Mr Muyiwa John Adetola – State Auditor-General Designate, Office of the State Auditor-General.

A circular signed by the Head of Service, Mr Bode Agoro, highlighted that the appointments of the permanent secretaries were based on merit following a rigorous screening exercise for the positions.

Agoro praised the appointees for their diligence, intellectual capacity, and commitment to service delivery.

He expressed confidence in their ability to contribute effectively to governance and wished them a productive tenure.

The appointments take effect from Tuesday, 19th November 2024, with the portfolios of the new Permanent Secretaries to be announced later.
